Loose Worksheet Paper Dilemma

Swimming in loose worksheets? Teaching your child at home and don't know what to do about the "loose worksheet paper dilemma"? We have a super easy tip just for you.

Workbooks are inevitable in education. They are incredibly helpful when practicing concepts learned throughout the school year, yet their tiny perforations guarantee the sheets will eventually end up missing in action. Maybe your the kind of educator that likes to keep the worksheets for review or simply to look back on and see where your little scholar needs some extra help.

If keeping worksheets is your cup of tea then we have the perfect solution for you.

For a small cost your local office supply store can take your perforated worksheet book and spiral bind it! Its awesome! Students can easily fold the workbook back and complete each page. The best part, the workbook is completely in tact. As a teacher you can easily look back on previous pages and see where your little scholar needs to review. Some workbooks even have valuable instruction written on the work pages. These pages are valuable when reviewing for an up coming test.

Its best to start with a new workbook, but as long as you have a good portion of the original workbook still bound, making it spiral bound shouldn't be a problem. Office supply stores accommodate for the size of the workbook and offer several different spiral sizes.

What can a teacher get for $5 ? These days the answer seems to be not much! What is a teacher to do? Our profession is a noble one, but it can get pricey! Especially pricey if you can't resist every new border and visual you see on the market. Not to mention the adorable note pads and stickers for each season. Things can easily start to add up. Don't be dismayed there is good news for teachers everywhere.

The dollar store has a special section dedicated to teachers and the items available are fabulous! If you have been before and think you have seen everything they have to offer, You MUST go back!!!! Take a peek at what we found.

Write On/ Wipe Off Subtraction Cards

The cards are laminated and come with a dry erase marker. Perfect for a math center area or to use as valuable practice for students needing some extra help.

Educational Spinners

Each pack comes with four blank spinners. The possibilities are limitless. Write nouns on the spaces provided and have students spin to create sentences. Write math equations on the blank spaces to sharpen math skills. Use blank spaces to write special treats or rewards and let students take a spin.

Time lines

The American Revolution, Career Choices and the Parts of Government are clearly defined on these concise time lines. Even if your not studying these subjects currently, for a dollar these are worth purchasing and saving for later.

Wall Banner

The particular banner we found would be great as a welcome banner for the beginning of the year or if you want to have a pond theme in your classroom for Spring.

At a dollar each a teacher really can afford to splurge. The key to remember is to visit the store periodically and try different locations. Items may change and you never know what you might find.
